Stronger, not just smaller
Postpartum looks different for everyone. Remember, this season isn’t about bouncing back; it’s about building a new kind of strength. One that supports a new energy and the life you are creating. Here are some of my favorite essentials to make it easier.
“This season isn’t about getting back to who you were. It’s about becoming a stronger, healthier you.”
Movement that fits real life
In the early postpartum days, movement can - and should be - simple. A short walk, gentle stretching, or mobility work can help your body recover, boost your mood, and increase energy.
My Tips:
Start with walks
Focus on how movement makes you feel, not how it changes your body
Be patient and consistent
Listen to your body. Don’t push it
At-home workouts that work
You don’t need a gym membership to feel strong. A few effective pieces of equipment can help you build a full-body routine at home.
Focus Area
Core and pelvic floor strength
Full-body functional movements
Mobility and flexibility
Short, efficient workouts (20-30min, or however long your baby will let you)
Supportive, comfortable activewear
Postpartum bodies are changing, and the right clothing can make movement feel so much more enjoyable. I look for pieces that support and feel comfortable at every stage.
What I love:
High-waisted leggings that stay in place
Supportive sports bras (especially for nursing)
Soft, breathable fabric
Matching sets that make me feel put together
Nourishment for energy and recovery
Proper nutrition supports your recovery, milk supply, and overall well-being. Focus on simple, nutrient-dense meals and snacks that keep you energized.
My Go-To’s:
Protein- rich breakfasts: greek yogurt, eggs, smoothies
Easy snacks: nuts, protein bars, fruit
A good waterbottle - stay hydrated
The little things that make a big difference
Recovery isn’t just about workouts; it’s about caring for your whole self.
My Essentials
Foam roller
Resistance bands
Nursing sports bra
A water bottle I love
Supplements (with guidance)
A Different Kind of Strength
Some strength doesn’t show up in photographs or fitness trackers.
It’s the strength of learning something new.
Of navigating new routines.
Of caring for someone else while remembering to care for yourself.
Yours,
Entirely
